Joseph Van de Wetering, Chairman & Treasurer Retired from Grumman after 33 years, he served as the Engineering Director on the E2C and F-14 Programs and as Deputy Vice President of Engineering for Grumman’s Aerospace Division. He is President of Central Suffolk Hospital’s Board of Directors, a member of the Board of Directors of Ivy Acres, a member of Farm Bureau and he has served on many community-service advisory panels. Mr. Van de Wetering lives in Baiting Hollow with his wife Patricia. |

John Caruso, Director Mr. Caruso attended Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and received his BS in Physics from Adelphi University. He served in the Navy during WWII as a radar electronics technician. The author of several scientific publications, he designed and developed many military equipment and new aircraft radar testing methods, and retired in 1994 after 30 years of service. He started a business in 1976 that provided electro-mechanical design of production systems in the food industry, retiring as President in 1991. |

Kenneth Euring, Director & Curator Mr. Euring’s first job was in the Ordinance Department of Grumman. He served in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant, a flying crew chief on KC-135’s during the Vietnam War. Upon his return from the service he returned to spend the rest of his professional career with Grumman, working his way up from the production line to experimental flight development. A certified Plane Captain on many types of aircraft, his experience included extensive test pilot duties. He lives in Mattituck with his wife Carol. |

Bobby Goodale, Director A principal in Riverhead Building Supply Corporation and lifelong Riverhead resident, Mr. Goodale has a long record of community service. His is chair of the Riverhead Development Corp., Vice Chairman of Central Suffolk Hospital’s Board of Directors and the Eastern Suffolk School of Music. He is past chairman of the Calverton Air Facility Joint Planning & Redevelopment Committee, the Riverhead Economic Development Task Force and the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce, and is also a board member of the East End Art’s Council. |

Steven Kirschenbaum, Director An East End resident for almost twenty years, Mr. Kirschenbaum’s background in engineering led to a lifelong love of aircraft of all types. Highly involved with community service of all types, he was Riverhead’s Rotarian of the Year in 1993, and the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year in 1998. He owns his own business in Riverhead, and lives in Calverton with his wife Deborah and their daughters Amy and Melissa. |

Patricia Van de Wetering, Secretary Mrs. Van de Wetering, a former Executive Secretary, has had experience in administrating a horticultural business for 25 years. Since taking on the task as Secretary for Grumman Memorial Park, she has become quite computer literate. |
